Carney to address Liberal convention on final day
MONTREAL — Prime Minister Mark Carney will address party members on the last day of the Liberal national convention in Montreal.
Carney’s address set for about 3:15 p.m. ET.
Liberal party grassroots are also preparing to debate and vote on a series of policy resolutions, although they are non-binding.
One resolution that passed was adding age restrictions for social media access. The party agreed to set 16 as the age of majority to use accounts. The resolution puts the onus of enforcement on social media companies.
