One dead after early morning rollover near Meadow Lake

Meadow Lake RCMP are investigating a fatal rollover that claimed the life of a 25-year-old woman.

Police were called to the scene shortly before 1:30 a.m. Thursday for a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 55, approximately 10 kilometres west of Meadow Lake.

Officers along with fire and local EMS responded to the scene. The lone occupant of the vehicle was transported by EMS to local hospital, where she later died. She has been identified as a 25-year-old woman from Flying Dust First Nation.

RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
