Man injured in Tuesday morning shooting in Sandy Bay
A man is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after being the victim of an early morning shooting on Tuesday in Northern Saskatchewan.
RCMP in Sandy Bay were notified of the incident at around 7:50 a.m., and determined a firearm was discharged toward a vehicle and struck the man. He was taken to and cared for at a local clinic. At this time, no suspects have been arrested or identified.
Saskatchewan RCMP are now advising of an increased police presence in the community in relation to this incident as the investigation continues. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
