Meadow Lake Spartans finish tough season with growing confidence in their future
The Meadow Lake Spartans had just lost their season finale 77–7 in Delisle when two graduating players asked head coach Coleton Ethier how they could come back.
They wanted to coach.
For Ethier, the requests were a sign of the culture taking shape at Carpenter High School, where the football program is in its second season back after a six-year break.
Returning players were already discussing offseason weight training, he said. A year earlier, many had put football aside until the next season began.
