RCMP investigating stolen vehicles; suspect still at large

Battlefords and Maidstone RCMP are investigating a stolen vehicle with firearms inside. The Maidstone detachment located and disabled the vehicle using a spike strip on Hwy. 16 and Hwy. 21 north of Maidstone.

Police contained the area and arrested a female from the Battlefords. A male is still on the run and RCMP believe he stole a white 2014 Chevy Silverado from Maidstone, license plate “ANGH”

RCMP ask the public not to approach the vehicle or the occupants and to immediately call 911.
