The 3rd Annual Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival – Friday, August 25 to Sunday, August 27

·        Make the most of the last days of summer and join us at the Waskesiu Lakeside Music Festival, this weekend in Prince Albert National Park!

·        From country, to pop, to folk, to alternative, there is a sound for everyone this Saturday!

o        11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Singing with Sylvia

o        11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. All Mighty Voice

o        1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Brad Johner and the Johner Boys

o        2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Velvet Hand

o        4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Rosie & the Riveters

o        5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The Dead South

o        7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The Steadies

o        8:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Codie Prevost

·        Discover the natural and cultural heritage of Prince Albert National Park!

o        Friday at 2:00 p.m. meet at the Main Beach for the Aquatic Animals program! Fish for lake critters and get to know who else prefers lake life.

o        Friday at 7:00 p.m. meet at the sidewalk below the Teepee for Spirits of the Park! This new program has park characters leap out of the history books and onto the streets!

o        Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  Get creative at Maple Leaf Painting with Indigenous Author, Artist, and Educator, Leah Dorion at the Festival Grounds!

o        Saturday, starting at 11:00 a.m. Play Nature Games and get a spray tattoo from Parks Canada staff under the Discovery Dome at the Festival Grounds.

o        Sunday at 11:00 a.m. meet at the Main Beach for the Rockn’ Rocks program to finish off our fun filled weekend! Engage all your senses and discover the magic of rocks.

·        Relax and reconnect at FREE outdoor Yoga this weekend with instructor Chad William Crozier. No experience needed! All sessions at the community grounds, extra mats available to borrow.

o        Friday at 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunset Yoga

o        Saturday at 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Morning Yoga

o        Saturday at 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Kids Yoga

o        Sunday at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Morning Yoga

·        PLUS special performances by Tracy Bone and Dallas Arcand!  

o        Saturday at 2:00 p.m. multi-award winning singer/songwriter and recording artist Tracy Bone performs solo!

o        Saturday at 3:30 p.m. A collaborative performance featuring Tracy Bone and Dallas Arcand, three-time World Hoop Dancing Champion!

·        All of Saturday’s activities take place on the music festival grounds and entry to Prince Albert National Park is FREE with your 2017 Parks Canada Discovery Pass. Don’t let the last few days of summer go to waste!
