Sep 19, 2017 | 12:28 PM

As part of our Learning Series, the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan is offering a month long learning series for families affected by dementia made available through the Province’s Telehealth system.

It’s call Next Steps for Families.

This series will offer family members and friends caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia an overview of the disease.

They will learn about topics including: what is dementia, memory loss, coping strategies, drugs, treatment, research, planning for the future, and community resources and support.

  • Wednesdays, October 4, 11, 18 and 25
  • 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
  • Registration is required. Free of charge.

Telehealth is a means of delivering health care services and education through interactive videoconferencing. Telehealth can only be viewed at various health centres across the province and is not accessible from your home computer.
