No car found in Canoe River; RCMP still investigating

After a day of searching, Île-à-la-Crosse

RCMP have not recovered a car which may have gone through the ice on the Canoe River.

They and the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team are searching in the area of kilometer 130 on Highway 155.

A large hole in the ice has been discovered, though no car has been found.

If anyone has any information on the hole, they’re urged to contact RCMP.
