Province reminds drivers to be aware on highways
Spring has arrived in Saskatchewan, and with the change in weather, drivers will notice changes to roads throughout the province.
The province’s highways will be seeing some more activity as spring seeding gets underway and farmers take to the roads in their machinery. Steve Shaheen, senior communications consultant with the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure said drivers need to be aware of what’s out there.
“Seeding and harvest are obviously the busiest and most important times for the agricultural community, so we want to make sure that Saskatchewan roadways continue to be safe for everyone and remind motorists to watch for slow moving agricultural equipment, especially during spring seeding” he said.
