Judy was very proud of her family and cherished her grandchildren. She worked as a school teacher in the community of Waterhen First Nation for over 30 years. Judy was well liked by all the lives she touched as she made Waterhen her home not just a place she worked. Judy retired and moved into Meadow Lake, maintaining her close ties with many of her friends and co-workers. She returned to work at Kopahawakenum school on Flying Dust First Nation and continued to support the school until the 2017 – 2018 school year.
