Age: 87 years

Osimas Young passed away on August 21, 2016 at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, Sk.  The Traditional Service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:00 am.  Waterhen Lake Reserve with Elders officiating.

The Pallbearers are Brendan Mistickokat, Matthew Mistickokat, Mikwan Mistickokat, Clayton Mistickokat, Tyrone Mistikokat, Dustin Fiddler

Interment will be held at the Wekinanuski cemetery Waterhen Lake Reserve.

Young loved the traditional way of  life.  She also loved meeting relatives at sundances, rounddances, and other gatherings.  She also regularly attended the Sweat Lodge with her family and friends.  Young had very strong beliefs in the traditional healing practices.   Young truly loved life, family, (children, grandchildren, chapans).  She enjoyed other activities such as chuckwagons, rodeos, and pow wows. 

She is lovingly survived by her children: Lawrence Mistickokat, Yvonne Mistickokat (Arthur), Alex Mistickokat (Maggie), Cecile Mistickokat, Diane Gladue (Robert), Delia Mistickokat (Larry), Robert Mistickokat, Jerry Mistickokat (Darlene), Marie Wensley (Michael), Joyce Fiddler (Ernie); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her common-law Charlie Lasas; daughter Violet Buffalo; son James Mistickokat; grandchildren: Brenna, Briana, Kevin, Tyril, Lorne, Orrin, Lorne, Nina.
