Brayden was love, kindness and honesty. His love for reading won him a prize in grade 9 for reading almost every book in the Humboldt High School. His knowledge shone through in his many informative and enlightening conversations. He had a passion for chess and he loved to teach his younger cousins and he competed online with some of the world’s best players. He recently was invited to play in a world tournament in Nigeria – Brayden may you play chess forever in the heavens.
Brayden loved to spend time at the lake with friends and family! We are left with so many fabulous memories at Kip and Meadow Lake Provincial park. Brayden loved swimming. He went through and pursued his lifeguard certification. He belonged to the Humboldt swim team – he would get up early to swim and practice for an hour before school (for anyone who knew our Brayden and how he slept in, it shows his total love for swimming!)
We were very proud of Brayden. He was accepted to U of S and decided to apply for an Engineering Officer position through the Army. He aced the aptitude test in Regina. He was so excited to have opportunities to be based around the world which he talked about at great length July 14th. We were so proud of him and his excitement for the future.
Brayden always wanted those he loved to be happy! He would always have a joke or comment on a situation to bring a smile or a laugh.
We will miss you and treasure every memory of you.
