There are six new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, bringing the total amount to 1,595.

One of the previously counted cases was removed as it was out of province. The new cases are located in the North West (two), North East (one), Saskatoon (one) and South West (two) zones.

There are 20 new recoveries. Of the total 1,595 cases, 134 are considered active. There have been a total of 1,439 people who have recovered.

Of the 134 active cases, 85 are in communal living settings.

As of today the total number of cases in communal living settings is 601. Previously disclosed cases in communal living settings were not intended to be cumulative, the province said. Earlier positive cases in communal living settings were included in regular positive case counts. Cases on colonies were not reported separately until June 18, when an outbreak was declared in the R.M. of Maple Creek.

Of the total province-wide cases, 229 are travellers, 821 are community contacts (including mass gatherings), 477 have no known exposures, and 68 are under investigation by local public health.
