24 new COVID-19 cases, 12 linked to P.A.’s Gospel Outreach outbreak
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is reporting 24 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.
Initial investigations have linked 12 of these cases to the Gospel Outreach outbreak in Prince Albert.
Regina is accounting for almost half of the new cases with 11. The other zones reporting new cases are North Central with five, North West with three, and Far North East with two. The Far North West, South East, and Saskatoon zones all reported one new case.
“The majority” of the new Regina cases appear to be linked to a single apartment complex; residents and management have been advised on precautions to take, according to SHA’s media release.
