SaskEnergy conducting controlled flares this week

SaskEnergy has scheduled a series of controlled flares in the province’s northwest area as part of scheduled maintenance work on its transmission system.

The first flare will occur Oct. 13 from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. six miles Northeast of Shellbrook and West of Prince Albert, near the south end of McLeod Road.

On Oct. 14 from 2 a.m. to 10 a.m., the corporation will conduct a controlled flare six miles Northeast of Leoville and one mile southwest of Debden.

On Oct. 15 from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m. there will be a flare eight miles South of Goodsoil and half a mile north of Rapid View.
