Vaccines to begin in Prince Albert this week, province records 286 new cases
Health care workers in Saskatoon and Regina have received 4,013 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine.
This week, the vaccinations will begin in Prince Albert. Moderna vaccines will begin in the Far North West and Far North Central zones for health care staff who are eligible, along with long term and personal care home residents.
There are 286 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Jan. 4, 2021, bringing the provincial total to date to 16,367 cases.
Two more residents who tested positive for the virus have died.
