Forcible confinement case adjourned to mid-January
A suspect accused in a forcible confinement case will appear in court later this month.
Tyson Eldridge, 31, remains in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing scheduled for January 11. In late December, Eldridge was arrested following an incident involving a heavy police presence at a residence.
Officers responded to a call on the morning of December 23 that alleged an adult male and female were held against their will at gunpoint.
Meadow Lake and Loon Lake RCMP secured the area around two residences and called in additional RCMP resources, including Meadow Lake Traffic Services, the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and North Battleford Police Dog Services.
