Feb 8, 2021 | 2:37 PM

The province administered 509 COVID-19 vaccine doses in the northern half of the province yesterday, bringing the total amount to 42,987.

The number of vaccines yesterday was lower than targeted due to extreme weather and reporting delays.

Residents in the Far North Central region will continue to receive second doses on Feb. 9 to align with the first dose schedule and contributed to lower administration numbers yesterday. A total of 96 per cent of doses received have been administered to date.
