Province reports 176 new cases and three deaths
The province reported 176 new cases of COVID-19 and 131 recoveries in Saskatchewan on March 12, bringing the provincial total to 30,369 cases.
Three Saskatchewan residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died. Two deaths were reported in the 70-79 age group in the Regina and South Central zones. One death was reported in the 50-59 age group in the Saskatoon zone.
The new cases located in northern Saskatchewan are in the Far North West (one), Far North Central (one), Far North East (10), North West (16), North Central (11), and North East (eight). Six are pending location information. Two cases with pending residence information were assigned to the Regina zone.
