Province reports 87 new COVID cases, 114 recoveries, and one death
The province reported 87 new cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan on March 17. This brings the provincial total to 30,970 cases and 1,264 cases are considered active.
One Saskatchewan resident who tested positive for COVID-19 has died. The death was reported in the 80+ age group from the North West zone.
The new cases in northern Saskatchewan are located in the Far North West (two), Far North East (five), North West (five), North Central (one), and North East (eight). Four new cases are pending residence information and six cases with pending residence information were assigned to the North Central (five) and Regina (one) zones.
