National Indigenous History Month marks the celebration of the rich and varied stories, achievements and resilience of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

As we honour the path of reconciliation, Pattison Media newsrooms across Saskatchewan are dedicated to telling stories throughout the year that help to recognize not just the history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, but also the successes of trailblazers today.

The Government of Canada has provided a link to download the Reconciliation: A Starting Point app to learn about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, which are helping to chart a new and better path forward for Indigenous Peoples and for everyone in Canada.
