Coast 2 Coast Closeup – Lorne Riley

Lorne Riley is an emerging independent Canadian country songwriter/artist who released his debut country album “Twenty Years” in 2019 whose title track climbed to #102 on Nashville’s Music Row chart. Lorne followed that up in 2020 with his second single “The Line Starts Here” which charted at #93 and “Nowhere Fast’ which came in at #115 in 2021.

Prior to turning his deft hand to country music, Lorne cut his teeth on rock and blues as a front man for a series of bands in Northern Ontario and later in Dubai as a singer/songwriter releasing three original albums with Mileage 51 and Monks on the Moon. These projects served as a steppingstone to elevate Lorne’s talent for storytelling, fuel his long-held passion for country music and provide a fresh new voice to the genre.

Lorne is currently busy writing, recording, and producing his second album “Sweet Pain” which is slated for distribution later this year.
