Nov 1, 2021 | 12:15 AM

Husband and wife duo The Rural Routes – a name symbolic of their Maritime and Prairie lives together – are bursting onto the Canadian Country Music scene, driven by an undeniable chemistry, sultry vocals, rich guitar, and captivating stage presence…an experience that captures the true spirit of country music.

The Rural Routes are fresh off the release of their radio single “Love Me Better” which gained national airplay and landed the pair in the Top 25 Trax Report from January to June 2021, for CanCon Groups and Duos. The country duo is back with their follow up single titled “Graffiti”.

Produced by Juno award winner Mark Troyer and recorded alongside Canadian country music artists Matty McKay, Justin Kudding, Spencer Cheyne, and Brendan Waters (all of Brett Kissel), “Graffiti” is a unique expression and exploration of the overwhelming feeling of falling in love, set in a reflective, playful, and colorful manner with respect to this common theme- a perfect song to showcase the married duo.

Their success has led them to share the stage with some of Canada’s most-revered country artists as well, The Rural Routes have opened for Corb Lund, Gord Bamford, and Brett Kissel to name a few.
