Coast 2 Coast Closeup – Deborah Lynn

Award winning country singer/songwriter Deborah Lynn was born and raised in Stirling, Ontario.  Country roots with musical influences in folk and classic rock paired with her incredible vocal talent consistently leave audiences wanting to hear more.

​Deborah Lynn has been singing and playing guitar since she was young. After college she started a small business in Toronto and entrepreneurship did not leave much time for music. A trip to Nashville in 2018 sparked her love for country music again.  Her first trip to Music City was incredible and included gracing the stage at the iconic Bluebird Café and joining the house band on stage at Tootsies in the heart of Broadway.

Deborah Lynn has a voice that has been described as Dolly Parton meets Ashley McBryde and has a rasp that commands a room.  This has earned her multiple award nominations over the past couple years including The Breezeway Entertainer of the Year in 2020.  Her songwriting is influenced by her folk music roots and focuses on telling her stories using in a traditional country tone.
