Coast 2 Coast Closeup – Basil Bauer

Canadian Country artist Basil Bauer has been singing for as long as he can remember. Born and raised in Waterloo Ontario, Bauer comes from a family of live performers including his father Frank Leahy, a career violinist and Canadian Fiddle Champion and mother Lisa Bauer-Leahy, an Olympian in the 84 summer Olympics.

Growing up in a musical family, Bauer’s music influences range from the work of Justin Bieber, John Mayer, Blake Shelton , Alan Jackson among many other artists in the country/pop industry.

A habitual daily songwriter, Basil continues to hone his songwriting craft.
