Suspicious fire burns down Waterhen Lake church

An investigation into a fire at a church on Waterhen Lake First Nation is underway.
Meadow Lake RCMP were called to the structure fire shortly after 6:00 a.m. on Thursday. The church was destroyed by the blaze, which the initial investigation determined as suspicious.
Officers confirmed no one was injured.
Police are asking any residents with information about this fire to contact the Meadow Lake detachment or do so anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
