RCMP make arrest and lay charge following fatal altercation in Meadow Lake

A 19-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter in relation to a violent incident last month in Meadow Lake.
Jaymes Quintal is currently out on bail with conditions. The court case has been adjourned to Aug. 29.
On July 6, RCMP responded to a report of an altercation between two males outside a residence.
Allen Quintal, 45, was transported to hospital with serious injuries and died several days later. Police have not confirmed if the two men are related.
