Seeing Jupiter has never been so easy in around 60 years

Sep 27, 2022 | 5:12 AM

The largest planet in the solar system is at its closest point in around 60 years. Despite being visible most nights, Jupiter is rarely this bright. From their own backyards, people can easily see it with their naked eyes. With telescopes, you can get a close-up view of Jupiter. Binoculars may even allow you to see some of the planet’s moons. It will take around 60 years for Jupiter to appear as bright as it does over the next couple of months.
