Poor visibility was being reported on highways across southern and central Saskatchewan on Friday as fog enveloped many areas of the province.
Environment Canada issued fog advisories for many areas, including regions around Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Estevan, Weyburn, Melville and Yorkton.
The advisories said near-zero visibility was occurring, but conditions were expected to improve by mid-morning.
According to the Highway Hotline, visibility was poor on the Trans-Canada Highway from Balgonie to the Manitoba border and from Mortlach to Rush Lake, on Highway 11 from Regina to Dundurn, and on Highway 16 from Maidstone all the way to the Manitoba border.
