More than $5.5 million raised at Telemiracle 47

Again, Saskatchewan residents showed their support at the Telemiracle Telethon.By the end of Sunday night, $5,519,229 had been raised. Saskatoon’s event featured a variety of new and familiar faces, as well as a tribute to Bob McGrath.

“He brought this incredible gentlemanly presence to his participation in the show,” Straker said. “He was a great children’s entertainer. He could bring out the child in anybody,” said longtime Telemiracle host Jeff Stracker.

The funds raised during TeleMiracle go to support the Kinsmen Foundation.
