10th Year of Smarter Science Better Buildings in North Battleford

Local and Saskatchewan examples of energy efficiency in action!

From May 8 to May 26, 2023, the Western Development Museum – North Battleford is hosting Grade 7 students for a half day of learning about energy efficiency in homes. Smarter Science Better Buildings (SSBB) combines six interactive displays specific to energy efficiency in today’s buildings with exploration of the Museum galleries and buildings.

Throughout the day, students will be asked to consider energy efficiency and sustainable building methods used in the past.

Who: The Saskatchewan Environmental Society, The Western Development Museum

What: A learning and inquiry experience for Grade 7 students from École Monseigneur Blaise Morand in North Battleford.

Where: The Western Development Museum – North Battleford, Highways SK-16 & SK-40, SK

When: Tuesday, May 16, 2023, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

(One hour of learning with the displays, followed by one hour in the museum. Media can arrive at any time, but SaskEnergy will greet students at the beginning)
