Elsie Schwehr was born on March 27, 1961 to Ella and Nicholas Schwehr. Elsie was the youngest of five children. Kay Thibault, Leo Schwehr, Lillian (Willie) Goertzen and Shirley Nimrichter.

Elsie had two children, Brian Schwehr and Tammy (Stephen) Hennerbichler, as well as multiple other
adopted children. Elsie had three grandchildren, Oakley, Casey and Denver. Her best friends, Karen Wiers, Lisa Prosser and Susan Wagman.
Elsie had adopted many kids over the years and was mom to each one of them, including her pets, she never let them go without. Elsie wasn’t the fancy type but she was pure and very stubborn calling an ace an ace and a spade a spade.

She passed away on June 17, 2023, leaving behind her three sisters and one brother, two children Brian and Tammy also her three grandchildren and her two pets, Rexx and JoJo.

If she could leave behind one piece of advice, we are sure it would go like this; Do not take shit from anyone, stand your ground and fight back, ” Brian you make sure to turn the damn music down” and Tammy ” Take a day off and do something for yourself for once”. She was a rock for a lot of people, and she will be very missed but it’s time to spread her wings and fly.
