Fire ban rescinded for RM of Meadow Lake

After nearly a month, the Rural Municipality of Meadow Lake said it is no longer under a fire ban.

The RM announced Thursday morning it has rescinded that ban, which came into effect on June 1 due to hot and dry conditions throughout the area.

Meanwhile, fire bans are still in place for the RM of Loon Lake as well as Green Lake.

According to the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA), fire bans are not in effect for the City of Meadow Lake and Flying Dust Nation.
