Travel not recommended around St. Walburg and Turtleford due to icy conditions

The freezing rain overnight has led to dangerous and icy conditions in some areas of northwest Saskatchewan.

According to Highway Hotline, travel is not recommended on Highways 3, 21, and 26 around St. Walburg, Turtleford, and Glaslyn.

Several highways in central and northern Saskatchewan are reporting winter or seasonal driving conditions currently except for Highway 55 from Shelbrook to Big River where travel is also not recommended.

Freezing rain warnings remain for areas of the north including the Battlefords while Meadow Lake is not under any warnings or advisories.
