CORRECTED: Pierceland RCMP investigating death at Mudie Lake

CORRECTION: RCMP issued a correction at 2:27 p.m. on Friday, saying the residence where the incident happened is in Mudie Lake, a part of Island Lake First Nation.

Pierceland RCMP and the Saskatchewan Corners Service are investigating a sudden death at Mudie Lake on Island Lake First Nation.

Police were called to a home on the reserve on Wednesday at around 6:20 p.m. for a report of a sudden death. Officers along with local EMS responded and located a deceased individual at the scene. They were not identified.

The investigation continues.
