Council Meeting Highlights

JULY 25TH COUNCIL MEETING HIGHLIGHTS

Below is a summary of some of the main items coming out of the Council meeting of July 25th.

• Council adopted a bylaw to provide for mail-in ballots for the 2016 municipal election. A copy of the bylaw can be found here: Bylaw 16-2016. For more information on the upcoming election, visit the Elections page.
• Council gave first reading to a bylaw to amend the Traffic Bylaw. This amendment will create no parking zones along parts of 3rd Street East and 8th Avenue West, as well as create one hour parking spaces on the West Service Road.
