Trial dates confirmed for Meadow Lake sex assault case

A total of two weeks have been set aside at Court of King’s Bench in Battleford to hear the details of a sexual assault case from Meadow Lake.

The trials for the two accused will commence on April 13, 2026. That was determined during a pre-trial hearing last week.

In the early morning hours of Feb. 6, 2024, Meadow Lake RCMP received a report of a sexual assault at an address on 9 Street West in Meadow Lake.

The investigation determined two female youths were sexually assaulted and the accused were arrested at the scene.
