Today we gather to remember Joseph Roth, beloved Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He was a hard-working man, who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: His garden, farm, pets, coffee, drives in the country, and visits with family.In his early years he helped his parents with the milk route. Most of work life was spent with the DNR (parks), and he enjoyed working with a cousin and an uncle for many years. He married Lillian Stremick on July 21, 1954. They had a busy life with seven children in the space of 10 years. Although a quiet man, he had a quick wit and sense of humour. His faith was strong and he welcomed every opportunity to go to church. Although we will miss our dear Dad terribly, his memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter we have and the love and kindness he gave us.
