Kelly Kawula Performing at B.E.D.Rock Music Festival – August 28th

The B.E.D.Rock Music Festival, sponsored by Melody Motors is very excited to announce Prince Albert’s own Kelly Kawula will be performing at the B.E.D.Rock Festival which will be Sunday, August 28th at Struther’s Lake Regional Park.

There is a $5.00 Regional Park Gate fee per vehicle. Otherwise, the festival that begins at 11 a.m. and runs all day will be Free!

Kelly Kawula began playing guitar in 1986 and started performing live shows in 1989.

He has played with a number of bands over the years such as Misder Completely and Permanent Vacation. He is currently with the bands 44 Slide ,Two Much and the Blues Bandoleros.

Kelly has had the opportunity to open for the following bands: Nazareth, Trooper, April Wine, Honeymoon Suite and many more. Highlight performances include Flatlands Music Festival, Winnipeg Summerfest and Saskatchewan Roughrider Games.

He has released two c.d’C.D.s with 44 Slide (Slave to the System 2003, Greed 2006) and recently completed a solo EP titled “Living with The Enemy” in August 2015.

The six song EP was mixed and mastered at Mosaic Music Studio in Prince Albert, Sk.

All lyrics and music was written by Kelly and the EP included guest musicians such as: Chad Mahlberg(drums),Niall Kerr (drums), Kurt Johns (bass guitar) and Derek Melchert (harmony vocals).

The artwork for “Living with the Enemy EP” was created and designed by Ron Riley. Kelly Kawula “Living with the Enemy” is now available on itunes, google play and many other digital music sites.

B.E.D.Rock Music Festival is a family friendly event. There will be a variety of vendors including Backyard Bouncers, Tea Leaf Reading, Tupperware and great Food.
