On Saturday, September 6, 2025, Cecile Simpson passed away in the Loon Lake Care Home at the age of 82 years.

Cecile is forever loved and remembered by her Daughter Daylene(Chris) Morton; Son Lane (Erin) Simpson; Grandchildren Krimson Morton (Teal), Kieldryn Morton (Michael), Kaidence (Breanna) Morton, Kinae Morton (Dante), Kierce Morton, Colter Simpson, and Ryker Simpson; Great-Grandchildren Aavyn Morton, Reymi Morton, Booker Kenyon, and August Morton; Sister Leona Schaub; Brother Doyle (Arlene) Schaub; Sisters-in-law Betty Simpson, and Greta Simpson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was predeceased by her Husband Alan Simpson; Parents Alex and Elsie Schaub; Brother Ronald Schaub; Parents-in-law Scotty and Priscilla Simpson; Siblings-in-law Jim Simpson, Helen (Herb) Klarenbach, John (Doris) Simpson, Francie (Audrey) Simpson, Donald Simpson, and Mary (Rodger) Dyck.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Loon Lake Recreation Centre.
