t is with sadness the family of Tonio Dakota Cantell announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, near Turtleford, Saskatchewan at the age of 28 years.

Tonio is survived by his son Kendrick Fiddler; brother Dallas G.; sister Tonia Cantell; nieces and nephews Nathalya K., Izleigh D., Izzy T., and Kendrick F.; mother Marlene D. Crookedneck; aunties Wanda C., Donna C., Gwen C., Brittany L., Bethany L., Sonia W., Shannon W., Aldina W., and Kyla W.; uncles Jason C., Raymond C., Robert C., Cory C., and Kennedy C.; grandmothers Shirley P., Joyce C., Leona C., Lillian P., Sylvia K., and Corrina C.; grandfathers William K., James K., Stanley K., Elvis C., Quinten C., and Judge C.; and great grandmother Christina Pahtaykan.

He is predeceased by his sister Mariah Mayleen Dillon (2022); father Travers Cantell (2004); uncle Elton C. (1999); auntie Phyllis C. (2024); cousins Daniel M. (2023), Alanis C., Jason Jr. C. (2025), and Trevor W. (2022); grandparents Lillian C. (2006) and Burton L.; great-grandparents Pierre C. (1986) & Julia C. (2024), Alec K. (1970) & Aldina K. (2011), and Albert L. (2008) & Susan C. (2008).

A wake will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the Mudie Lake Hall, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Mudie Lake Hall, Saskatchewan
