USports Football: Domagla’s late field goal helps Ravens slip past Warriors
WATERLOO, Ont. — Michael Domagla connected on a 22-yard field goal with eight seconds left in the fourth quarter as the Carleton Ravens squeaked past the Waterloo Warriors 21-18 on Saturday in Canadian university football action.
Quarterback Aaron Igiehon completed 16-of-28 passes for 272 yards and a pair of touchdowns to help Carleton improve to 2-1 on the season. Domagla finished with a pair of field goals and two converts.
Receiver Dominic Walker had five receptions for 130 yards, catching both of Igiehon’s TD passes.
Tre Ford threw two touchdown passes for Waterloo (2-1) in the fourth quarter to tie the game 18-18 and set up Domagla’s heroics. Ford finished with 321 yards on 29-of-39 passes.
