Search underway for missing 45-year-old man in Meadow Lake: RCMP

RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 45-year-old man who was reported missing the past weekend in Meadow Lake.

Police said Michael Fiddler was reported missing on Dec. 14. He was last seen that day in the city.

Since receiving the report, RCMP have been checking places Fiddler is known to visit and following up on information received, but say they are now asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Fiddler is described as 5-8 tall, weighing about 238 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair worn with a goatee. Police said he was last seen wearing a black and blue lumberjack jacket, black joggers and black shoes.

“We are working to obtain a photo of him,” the RCMP said in a statement issued Dec. 17.
