Norman Wesley Jr Chief (Mosom) was born January 1, 1991 to Eileen Chief and Wesley Thomas. He passed away at the age of 34 years on December 11, 2025, in Onion Lake. He was the third of four siblings, a beloved brother to Dianna, George and Wade.
Norman was a proud and loving father to his children Roxy, Natalie, Rachaud, Navaroe and Navairah, he is reunited in heaven with his late daughter Rachauna.
Known to many as “Mosom”, he found joy in mechanical work, hunting and sharing stories and laughter with family and friends. Norman will be remembered for his love for his family, his presence and the connections he made within the community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Norman is survived by his Loving Mother Eileen Chief; Father Wesley Thomas; Siblings Dianna (Ryan), George, and Wade; Children Roxci, Natilea, Navaroe, Rachaud, Navairah; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family.
Norman is Predeceased by his Maternal Grandparents Norman and Alvina Chief; Paternal Grandparents George Thomas, Ida Thomas; Daughter Rachauna Chief; Maternal Aunts and Uncles Norma, Lorraine, Betty, Lydia, Arnold, Charles, and David; Cousins Donovan, Chantille, Blake, Gina, Christy, Carlyle, Patricia, Sandy, and Patrick; Nieces and Nephews Jordan, Jeneane, Kenley, Desiree, Jo-Layne, and Colvin; and Paternal Aunts and Uncles.
A Wake will begin at 12:00 p.m. MST on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Round Hall, Onion Lake, Saskatchewan.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. MST on Monday, December 22, 2025, at the Round Hall, Onion Lake, Saskatchewan.
