It is with extreme heartache the family of Nevaeh Kaylee Morningchild “Newborn” announce her sudden passing on Monday, December 29, 2025, in Loon Lake, Saskatchewan at the age of 17 years.

Nevaeh is forever loved and remembered by her Parents Cassandra King and Bradley Morningchild (Leanne Champagne); Siblings Kingston, Declan, Calin, and Zariah; Maternal Grandparents William and Marian King; Paternal Grandparents Lorrine Cantell (Robert Blueeyes); Maternal Aunts and Uncles Erin, Cheryl (Joe), Samantha, Matthew (Cara), and Jonathan; Paternal Aunts and Uncles Natalie (Travis), Daylene (Clayton), Philip (Keshia), Darla, Rene and Lana; Sister Cousin Natalia Gladue; As well as numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.

She is predeceased by her Brother Bryce Morningchild; Paternal Grandfather Dale Morningchild; Maternal Great-Grandparents Edward and Cecile King; Paternal Great-Grandparents Harry Mitsuing and Lily Morningchild.

A Wake will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Simon and Alma Kytwayhat Community Hall, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Saskatchewan.
