Yesterday was Canada’s first ‘Takeout Day’. Going forward, every Wednesday Canada Takeout will encourage the public to do their part in supporting the local restaurants who have stayed open for takeout during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To help you choose which restaurant you would like to support and which ones are still open, we’ve launched a brand new platform for easy use in all essential services including restaurants.
Restaurants are doing their part by staying open for takeout. Now it’s your turn to take an active part in the support of an industry that employs millions of people in this country.

In addition to people ordering takeout from their favourite restaurants, Canada Takeout is offering a show via a facebook live featuring Canada’s Great Kitchen Party – Home Edition. The stream starts a 8pm EST every Wednesday with George Stroumboulopoulos emceeing and several guests ranging from professional athletes to famous musicians.
