Flames sign forward Jonathan Castagna to three-year, entry-level contract

CALGARY — The Calgary Flames have signed forward Jonathan Castagna to a three-year, entry-level level contact, the NHL club announced Monday.

The deal carries an average annual value of US$1.075 million and will start in the 2026-27 season.

Castagna will join the American Hockey League’s Calgary Wranglers on a professional tryout contract for the remainder of this season.

The 20-year-old from Toronto, had a team-leading 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 34 NCAA games with Cornell this season.
