Online lab booking launches in Meadow Lake, Lloydminster

Online lab appointment booking is now available in Meadow Lake and Lloydminster, the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) says.

In a news release issued Wednesday, the health authority said its online Patient Booking System will open in Meadow Lake on April 29 and in Lloydminster on April 30, with appointments in both communities available starting one week later.  

The system allows patients to book appointments for blood and urine collection, and at select sites, electrocardiograms and glucose tolerance testing.  

Patients can access the system 24 hours a day and will need a valid health card along with a phone number or email address to receive notifications.
