It is with heavy hearts that the family of Wanda Rose Alexander announce her passing on Thursday, May 14, 2026, in Maidstone, Saskatchewan at the age of 63 years.

Wanda is forever loved and remembered by her Children: Alexis Alexander (Clark Minsos), Nickson Alexander, Danell Alexander and Alexx Alexander; Siblings: Adrienne Stoney, Lila (Vernon) Dion, Ezra Paskimin (Sharon), Tina Dreaver, Johnathan Paskimin, Alex Takakenew, Bernice (Noel) Merasty, Laurence Dreaver, Vicky Dreaver, and Percy Dreaver; Companion: Alex Peechow; Grandchildren: Braxton, Cecilee, Damon, Eden, Keeley, and A’nella; As well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Wanda is predeceased by her Parents: Gabe Takakenew and Mariah Alexander; Stepmother: Sarah Dreaver; Siblings: Gabriel Paskamin (Bernice), Lorne Paskimin, Marles Dreaver, and Laura Takakenew; Aunties: Edith Paskimin, Mary Blackface, Bella Wapass, Mabel Paquette, and Eva Takakenew; Uncles: Norman Paskimin, Albert Paskemin, Morris Paskemin, Sam Child, David Takakenew, and Walter Takakenew; Grandparents Alex Alexander and Helen Knife; Nieces: Sharmaine Jimmy, and Summer Smith; Nephews: Timothy Paskimin, Gabriel Johnson, Fraser Littlewolfe, Cassius Cook, and Khloe Chief

The Wake will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at the Chief James Okanee Memorial Center, Thunderchild First Nation, Saskatchewan.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Chief James Okanee Memorial Center, Thunderchild First Nation, Saskatchewan.
