Seven charges laid after Beauval disturbance, officer assault

A man is facing several charges after officers were assaulted and a police vehicle was damaged during an early-morning disturbance this week.

RCMP were called to a home in Beauval around 1:30 a.m. on June 8 after receiving a report of a man causing a disturbance.

When officers arrived, they determined there had been an altercation between the man and a group of people at the residence. It’s alleged the man damaged the door and left before officers arrived.

A short time later, RCMP received another report that the same man had damaged a police vehicle parked outside a residence in Beauval. Officers located and arrested him.
